Smith Teamakers were at the IPNC pinot noir celebration this year and I got to try some of the company’s fermented teas. So interesting. I don’t have much experience with Russian teas, but if you get to Portland, the place to go for all things Russian is Kachka! http://kachkapdx.com/
Oh, I wish I could have been there! I was just able to try their new holiday teas, including a Yunnan white tea scented in rum barrels, and am still on a dream cloud. I’d be at their tasting room all the time if I lived in Portland. Kachka also looks so marvelous (what a cocktail list!) I think I need to move to Oregon.
